When and where are the village board meeting held?
2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm located at the village hall 104 E McKimmey.
How do I sign up for the village emergency alert system?

Does the village have leaf pickup in the fall?
Typically October to Thanksgiving
When are the park bathrooms opened and closed for the year?
Bathrooms are opened and closed with seasonal overnight temperatures being consistently above freezing.
How do I know if a solicitor has a permit?
The village will send out a notice for all solicitors. Check the website or sign up for the latest info. If nothing has been sent out then NO they do not have a permit and you may contact the Sheriff's department.
How many pets can I have?
There is a limit of 5 pets. Pets MUST be confined to your property.
What can be put in the village dump?
Trees only
Can I burn leaves in my yard or on the side of the street?
Burning is only allowed in contained fire pits or burn barrels. Not allowed in ditches, street or waterways.
Where do I pay my water and sewer bill?
Village office drop box (located outside the hall) or mail.
How do I set up water and sewer service?
Contact the office.
How do I get rid of yard waste and tree branches?
Trees branches can go to burn pile (wood only), leaves/grass clippings can go in compost bays.
What day is garbage picked up?
Tuesday's. Check Gill's disposal website for holiday schedule changes or the homepage banner.
Am I allowed to have chickens?
No
What are the requirements for golf carts?
Several, call to schedule your inspection and get approved

How can I reserve the park shelter house? What is the cost?

What can I put on the compost pile?

When is the annual bulk garbage pickup?
Typically in August, sign up for updates and alerts through the website.
Is the village responsible for a tree in the easement?
Homeowners are responsible for trees within the easement. Trees are to be trimmed 12 feet above the roadway and 8 feet above a sidewalk.
Who pays for sidewalk repairs?
The village conducts yearly sidewalk inventory's and completes repairs/replacements as the budgeted amount allows. Homeowners are required to maintain sidewalks to help lenghten the lifespan of sidewalks.
