Unfortunately, the newly surfaced basketball court sustained damage after someone rode a scooter across the fresh coating before it had fully cured.
While most would recognize that fresh surfacing should be avoided until reopened for use. We understand that additional visual reminders besides the area being roped off with caution tape can help prevent unintended damage. I know we are all eagerly awaiting the final opening of the park.
